This is a live improvised musical meditation on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous quote, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.” Think of those who have risked so much to promote civil rights and social justice around the world. Meditate on his words, let them echo in your soul, and spur you to action in your life. Performed on MLK day 2021, with vocals from Ada and Nathan, handpan, ocean drum, rainstick, and bowls.
